In cooperation with McMaster University, the Transatlantic Cluster for Lightweighting (TraCLight) invites Canadian, US and German companies and research institutions to initiate a transatlantic dialogue of manufacturing and material trends in next generation lightweighting.
Lectures about Advanced Manufacturing, Industrie 4.0, Digital Engineering Process, Additive Manufacturing and Multi Material Design in Lightweighting enrich the comprehensive progam. Invited are speakers for example from the German Aerospace Center, McMaster University, the University of Toronto, the National Research Council, TRUMPF and ANSYS.
The conference presents new technologies and addresses the importance of holistic engineering process chains in the advanced manufacturing and lightweighting sector. Moreover, the aim is to stimulate bidirectional transatlantic project partnerships and strengthen dynamic global collaboration.
